Visit our ShopBut where did the naturist fiction and Knickerless Stories come from? Though he hasn’t been involved with naturist clubs, G Burnell has been to nudist beaches quite a few times.
The first time he came across it was by accident while on holiday abroad. There were stunningly beautiful young women going in and out of the sea all day, as naked as the day they were born. He enjoyed the freedom of this so much that he has frequented nudist beaches ever since.
The Shift
Having written fiction in other genres, he decided to try his hand at ‘naturist fiction’ recently—and was quite pleased with the result. And that was how it started.
Another type of fiction he has written is Knickerless Stories. These were written during the period of the ‘no-pants’ craze, when loads of young women followed the lead of celebrity actresses and pop divas, and simply ‘forgot’ their knickers.
It was in the early 2010s that he started writing these stories. At that time he was still going to nightclubs at weekends, and he noticed that a lot of young women were going ‘pantieless’. This observation sparked the creative direction for this collection.

This dedication to the nightlife scene in his hometown and elsewhere provided the observational groundwork for the stories. Prior to this era, his writing had focused mainly on non-fiction works.
